Prerequisites​

  • Your trade, service area, license and insurance documents
  • A list of GCs you already work with (optional)

Steps​

  1. Claim your profile. Find yourself on ContractorsNearMe.ai, claim the listing, and complete verification: trade category, insurance, bonding. Verified profiles win more invites.
  2. Collect bid invites in one list. GCs on BuildX invite you against their scope lines. You see the same lines they budget, so there is nothing to decode.
  3. Price from the cost database. Check the relevant calculator on buildx.pro/costs for the fair range, apply your production rate, and submit an itemized bid into the leveling view.
  4. Track hours per job. Clock into each job per GC. Hours attach to the job, which makes T and M billing and payback disputes boring.
  5. Invoice with backup. Send invoices with hours and photos attached, include lien waivers, and get paid. Everything works even if the GC is not on BuildX.

Done when​

  • Your profile is claimed and verified
  • You bid one invite from the cost database range
  • Your first invoice carries hours, photos, and a lien waiver
