Steps​

  2. Read the breakdown. Every result shows line items (materials, labor, allowances) plus a low/high range. The range reflects quality tier and regional multipliers, not guesswork. See how calculators work.
  3. Compare three contractors. Each answer suggests three local contractors from 141K verified profiles. Open their ContractorsNearMe.ai profiles: reviews, license, insurance, past work.
  4. Request quotes with the same scope. Send every bidder the same breakdown so bids are comparable. Ask what is allowance vs fixed, and what triggers a change order.
  5. Track in the customer portal. Your contractor sends a portal link (no login needed). Milestones, site photos, messages, Good/Better/Best proposals, change-order signatures, and progress invoices tied to completed work all live there.
